Field Trip to Museum of Natural Science

The first weekend of December, we decided to take a detour to the Delta to meet Uncle Eustace in pecan orchard to see the harvest and then take a field trip to Jackson to tour the Museum of Natural Science with LaLa and Deda.  The weather was beautiful, cool, but not cold and lots of sunshine.  Winn and Meredith had fun exploring the Treehouse and having the fairies fill up the treasure chest while they slept.  We had a fun time touring the Museum; we were practically the only ones there.  My favorite was the 2 headed snake and the boardwalk trails behind the museum. We ended our trip with a nice late lunch at Primos and fried chicken and lots of cake desserts.  We had fun making a memorable weekend with LaLa and Deda.

Uncle Eustace gets married!

On October 28, 2017, Eustace and Claire tied the knot at Grace Episcopal Church in Rosedale, MS with the reception at the Baby Doll House.  Meredith and Reeves were flowergirls and did a wonderful job.  We got to spend alot of time with Reeves and Marshall.  The Romanos came to Oxford first and then we all went to Greenville mid-week to get settled in for the wedding weekend marathon.  It ended up being really cold out so Claire had to borrow coats and furs to keep warm. We had babysitters, Alison and her mother, for the rehearsal dinner and then the babysitters came to the reception which worked out well.  It all went by too fast but we created some wonderful memories and photographs to document the joyous, love-filled weekend!
